How is my Trust Score worked out?
From the evidence on your profile: checked business details, checked insurance and qualifications, completed projects, customer reviews and your fair-pricing record. The full table is on this page — every action and exactly what it is worth. Everyone starts on 20 points rather than zero, nothing you do subtracts points, and we never rank tradespeople against each other. Your score reflects the evidence we hold, so it moves as that evidence changes.
Do I have to be the cheapest?
Absolutely not. We look for fair, transparent pricing that accounts for quality, materials and local labour rates — not a race to the bottom. Being cheap is never required, and being premium is never a problem if the price is honest.
What do I need to provide?
Basic business information, your public liability insurance, and a few examples of recent quotes or invoices — all photographed straight into your dashboard. We never save the photos themselves: we read the details from them and discard the image. On quotes we strip out your customer's name, address and contact details and keep only the postcode area. You can see exactly what we kept, and delete it any time.
Can my accreditation be removed?
Yes. To protect homeowners, accreditation can be suspended if a tradesperson repeatedly quotes well above fair local rates without good reason, or ignores verified complaints. Low prices are never a reason to lose it.
